Dubai is set to celebrate the conclusion of the “Year of the Family 2026” events with a grand community ceremony themed “The Family Pathway to Health and Wellbeing.” Chaired and attended by H.E. Sheikha Nada bint Issa Al Mualla, Community Ambassador, the event will take place on November 25 at the Oud Metha Theatre in Zabeel, Dubai. The ceremony is organized by Al Onwan Event Management, represented by H.E. Nouf Al Yafei, in collaboration with the London-based Holistic Health Academy.
The event will feature a distinguished lineup of local and international figures, alongside public and private institutions dedicated to family, community, and health. It aims to celebrate the family’s pivotal role, reinforcing its position as the core nucleus of society and the foundation of its stability, cohesion, and prosperity.
H.E. Sheikha Nada Al Mualla emphasized that the ceremony serves as a distinguished finale to the Year of the Family, spotlighting initiatives that enhance family health and quality of life. She highlighted that the event carries a clear message: “A stronger society begins with prosperous families, paving the way for a brighter future.”
This message, she noted, aligns with the UAE’s vision of building a cohesive, stable, and happy society by focusing on three main pillars: human empowerment, family enhancement, and the advancement of overall well-being. Sheikha Nada added that the event’s theme reflects a comprehensive vision of the family that goes beyond social cohesion to encompass physical and mental health, the empowerment of women and youth, eldercare, and the inclusion of people of determination.
Dr. Salwa Dafallah, Founder of the Holistic Health Academy in London, affirmed that investing in family cohesion and health is a strategic, long-term investment in the community’s future. She explained that family well-being is an integrated ecosystem comprising quality relationships, mutual support, and mental and physical health, all of which foster a balanced, safe, and sustainable environment.
Furthermore, H.E. Nouf Al Yafei, General Manager of Al Onwan Event Management, stated that organizing this ceremony stems from a shared vision to deliver a high-caliber event that blends a strong social message with professional execution. She added that the initiative reflects the wise leadership’s vision of dedicating each year to a humanitarian value that cements the concepts of integration and equality among all members of society.
