The Ministry of Transport Kuwait has introduced four new e-services through the Sahel app Kuwait government app, advancing the country’s push toward digital transformation and streamlined public service delivery.
In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the ministry said the services allow users to view all phone numbers registered under their names and manage them directly within the app. Subscribers can temporarily suspend active lines, permanently deactivate numbers, reactivate suspended lines, and manage both active and disconnected numbers without visiting service centres.
The services are accessible under the “Phone Services” section of the app, specifically within the “activating/deactivating existing phones” feature. This enables users to handle their mobile line status conveniently and in real time.
According to the ministry, the rollout aligns with broader government efforts to expand digital services, improve efficiency, and reduce the time and effort required for administrative processes. The initiative also reflects Kuwait’s commitment to adopting smart solutions as part of its comprehensive digital transformation agenda.
The ministry encouraged subscribers to take advantage of the new features and reaffirmed its commitment to introducing additional e-services to enhance user experience.
