Airtel Money Malawi has announced a new partnership with the Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation (ADMARC), enabling customers to pay for goods using their Airtel Money wallets at ADMARC outlets across the country.
The collaboration introduces digital payment options for customers shopping at ADMARC, one of Malawi’s state-owned agricultural marketing institutions that plays a key role in food distribution and agricultural trade. Through the new service, customers can make payments using the Airtel Money USSD platform by dialing *211# or through the MyAirtel App’s scan-to-pay feature.
The initiative is designed to make purchases faster, safer, and more convenient by reducing reliance on cash transactions. Customers can now complete payments directly from their mobile wallets, providing a seamless experience when purchasing goods from ADMARC outlets.
The partnership reflects the growing adoption of digital financial services in Malawi as mobile money providers continue to expand cashless payment options across various sectors of the economy. By integrating Airtel Money into ADMARC’s retail network, the two organizations aim to improve payment efficiency and enhance customer convenience.
