Arab Financial Services has partnered with Mastercard to launch corporate credit and prepaid cards integrated directly with the AFS Pro mobile app across the UAE and Egypt. The collaboration introduces an end-to-end, digital-first business payments platform that bridges card issuing and merchant acquiring within a single interface.
Through the AFS Pro integration, corporate finance teams can issue cards instantly, define customized spending controls, monitor expenses in real time, and streamline automated accounting workflows. On the receivables side, the platform embeds SoftPOS technology to transform standard smartphones into contactless payment terminals, alongside Pay-by-Link tools for digital and remote invoicing. Detailed merchant analytics and reporting dashboards provide continuous visibility over sales volumes and liquidity.
The joint solution serves as a ready-to-deploy proposition for regional financial institutions, enabling banks to introduce commercial card issuing and merchant acceptance capabilities with minimal development overhead. The deployment begins in the UAE, followed by an expansion across Egypt.
Dr. Samer Soliman, Group CEO of AFS, highlighted that the landmark alliance significantly boosts efficiency, visibility, and control over corporate spending across both growth markets. Mete Güney, Executive Vice President of Market Development for EEMEA at Mastercard, added that the partnership equips businesses of all sizes with scalable, digital-first payment tools designed to navigate evolving economic demands.
