Binance’s tokenized stock product, bStocks, crossed $500 million in assets under management on July 28, rising from $5.6 million on its launch day, June 11, achieving this milestone in just seven weeks.
The platform has expanded its offerings from five initial tickers to more than 46, recently adding major technology and financial companies such as Apple, Amazon, Dell, Goldman Sachs, and PayPal. bStocks provides users with continuous trading capabilities and allows for free, instant, two-way conversion between a bStock and its underlying equity. These tokenized securities are classified as Certificates representing certain Financial Instruments and are backed one-to-one by corresponding United States shares held at a regulated custodian.
A notable trend driving this rapid adoption is the heavy participation of young, crypto-native investors. Platform data reveals that 41.5% of bStocks users are making their first traditional finance investment through these tokenized securities on Binance, with Generation Z accounting for 44% of the overall trading activity.
The product also demonstrates exceptional performance outside of standard market hours, effectively functioning as the platform’s night shift while traditional brokerages are closed.
After United States markets conclude their trading day, bStocks captures 58% of the equity-linked volume on Binance. During a single recent weekend, the tokenized stock product recorded $2 billion in trading volume, underscoring the substantial global demand for equity exposure outside of traditional Wall Street operating hours.
