In a milestone development for regional technology, Abu Dhabi-based AI software creator AIREV has signed a strategic agreement with Redington to distribute its autonomous AI platform, OnDemand, across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the entire African continent. The partnership bridges homegrown UAE artificial intelligence with one of the world’s most extensive enterprise distribution networks.
The agreement combines AIREV’s sovereign-ready autonomous software with Redington’s robust market reach. Redington, a leading technology aggregator that reported consolidated revenues of $13.5 billion for FY2026, will market, resell, and distribute the OnDemand Enterprise platform. To accommodate diverse organizational needs, the rollout will feature software-only, self-hosted, and cloud-hosted deployment models.
The distribution agreement goes beyond software licensing to include comprehensive implementation services, custom AI agent development, and multi-tier technical support delivered through Redington’s channel partners. AIREV will also provide targeted training and certification programs for these partners, alongside joint go-to-market initiatives to drive adoption.
The alliance has drawn strong support from UAE leadership, emphasizing the nation’s shift from being a technology consumer to a primary architect of advanced systems. “It is the ambition of the UAE to not only build homegrown advanced technology tools and platforms but to put them to work across our key trade and investment partners, particularly in the Middle East and Africa,” said Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade and Chairman of AIREV. “Redington’s network gives UAE-developed AI a distribution infrastructure that very few software companies anywhere in the world can access, enabling AIREV to scale seamlessly and sustainably.”
The collaboration was catalyzed by Intel, which has an existing software optimization relationship with AIREV and a longstanding channel partnership with Redington. “We built OnDemand so any enterprise can run capable, secure AI agents on their own terms – on-premises, in their cloud, or ours,” noted Muhammad Khalid, Founder and Chief Executive of AIREV. “With Intel bringing us together, the whole stack now lines up: the silicon, the software, and a channel that already serves every market from the Gulf to the whole of Africa.”
A key differentiator for OnDemand is its optimization for the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 Processor, which enables AI agents to run efficiently on client devices. This on-device architecture is particularly vital for government agencies, regulated financial institutions, and enterprise sectors constrained by strict data-sovereignty requirements.
Sayantan Dev, Redington’s Global Head of the Software Solutions Group, underscored this operational focus: “The next wave of enterprise AI will be defined by execution, not experimentation. Organizations are looking for AI platforms that fit within their existing infrastructure, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.”
