ZEDEDA and VAS Limited have officially signed a distribution agreement to introduce ZEDEDA’s Edge Intelligence Platform to Saudi Arabia. The strategic partnership aims to accelerate the deployment of scalable edge AI applications across the Kingdom, aligning directly with the digital infrastructure goals outlined in Vision 2030.
As Saudi Arabia continues its push toward AI-driven modernization, deploying these applications at scale requires an active on-the-ground engineering layer. VAS Limited, established in Riyadh in 2024 as the regional office of VAS Integrated Solutions, provides vendor-certified teams to manage the complete project lifecycle from advisory and design to deployment, training, and ongoing operational support. This localized approach enables organizations to deploy and govern edge applications across highly distributed sites while keeping workloads and security control planes entirely within the Kingdom.
The partnership’s initial go-to-market collaboration targets branch and remote sites with a specialized edge AI video analytics solution. This setup utilizes GPU-accelerated edge appliances to ingest and process camera streams directly at the point of data generation, ensuring continuous detection and alerting independent of wide-area network conditions.
To streamline physical infrastructure, third-party network and security functions run as virtualized workloads on a single appliance, eliminating stacked hardware at every location. Simultaneously, IT teams maintain centralized security visibility and policy enforcement without sacrificing real-time, local decision-making.
Ernesto Beneke, VP EMEAI at ZEDEDA, noted that AI only creates physical-world value when it operates reliably across thousands of real sites under real conditions. By combining ZEDEDA’s centralized orchestration platform with VAS Limited’s regional integration expertise, the partnership provides a foundation for national-scale edge AI deployments in Saudi Arabia, with plans to expand further into the broader GCC region. ZEDEDA and VAS Limited are currently demonstrating their joint capabilities at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh.
