Huawei has solidified its commitment to the African digital ecosystem by launching a Partner Joint Industry Solution, naming CoCre8 Technology Solutions as a cornerstone of the initiative.
The announcement at the Huawei South Africa Connect 2026 summit in Sandton highlights a major push toward localized digital transformation. CoCre8 has been selected to lead the deployment of paperless government solutions. By pairing Huawei’s global Information and Communication Technology stack with CoCre8’s on-the-ground delivery capacity, the partnership aims to modernize public sector infrastructure and streamline services.
CoCre8, a Level 1 Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment South African technology firm, provides essential expertise in datacentre platforms, hybrid cloud technologies, and cybersecurity to manage these sensitive public sector deployments. The collaboration reflects a broader shift toward vendor-led partner ecosystems, with Huawei’s network now encompassing over 1,400 South African companies that account for 94.7% of its local revenue.
Alongside CoCre8, the initiative includes IT players like BCX, Altron, and Gijima. With South Africa positioned as the primary pilot market, the successful integration of cloud and AI solutions through partners like CoCre8 will serve as the blueprint for Huawei’s broader African expansion.
