The network will support industrial IoT applications such as asset monitoring, fleet tracking, environmental sensing, smart surveillance, and infrastructure control. Alongside the rollout, Aramco Digital will introduce rugged, AI-enabled smart radios and tailored industrial connectivity solutions designed for harsh operating environments. The initiative follows regulatory approvals granted in 2024 by Saudi Arabia’s Communications, Space & Technology Commission, enabling Aramco Digital to deliver specialised wireless services nationwide.

Paris: TECHz – News Desk     Eutelsat has awarded Airbus Defence and Space a contract to manufacture an additional 340 OneWeb low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites, expanding its existing order from December 2024 of 100 satellites to a total of up to 440 satellites. Production will take place at Airbus’s Toulouse facility on a newly installed production line, with deliveries scheduled from the end of 2026. Moscow: TECHz – News Desk Russian scientists have presented a 70-qubit quantum computer prototype developed as part of Rosatom’s Quantum Project, a national programme aimed at advancing quantum technologies. Researchers from the Russian Academy of Sciences report that the experimental system has achieved high operational accuracy, with single-qubit operations reaching 99.98% and two-qubit operations 96.1%.
