Ethiopost has entered a strategic partnership with M-PESA ETHIOPIA through a Master Agent Agreement to broaden access to mobile financial services across Ethiopia. Under this collaboration, Ethiopost will act as a Master Agent within the M-PESA ecosystem, combining the reach of one of Ethiopia’s most trusted public institutions with the convenience of mobile money.
Leveraging its extensive branch network, Ethiopost will provide M-PESA services at its outlets, supported by an expanding network of sub-agents. Customers will be able to conduct essential transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and assisted digital payments, closer to their homes and workplaces.
The partnership not only enhances accessibility for consumers but also creates new business opportunities for agents and sub-agents through commission-based services. This initiative underscores both organizations’ commitment to promoting financial inclusion and accelerating Ethiopia’s digital economy, making modern financial services more widely available nationwide.
